Two movies have recently touted themselves as Biblically-inspired, but have taken artistic license to fit the story they wish to present to audiences of all religious backgrounds. What are your thoughts about Biblically-inspired movies versus Biblically-based ones?

I have not seen either of these movies, and I do not know who produced them or created them. Overall, I do know that Hollywood usually takes license with every topic to create a movie. As long as they say, Biblically inspired, I don't really have a problem with it. If they claimed that it was the truth and it wasn't the true Biblical story, then that's different situation. We don't know what tool God might use to make connections to people of all faiths and frames of mind around the world. If these movies created a interest to learn more and changed someone's life to move close to God, that would be a good thing.
